POTD day 148 The forty shot challenge

Posted: Saturday, May 28, 2011
Filed Under:

This is my 40 shots of one subject challenge. I first saw this on Jason Teale's blog here and here. I found this to be very challenging especially after I got the first 17 photos done. It was quite difficult to find a new perspective to see the subject.

I ended up with about 30 different shots and then relied on virtual copies in lightroom and different processing to make up the difference. Definitely a unique challenge that was worth taking up.

For my subject I used one of the four masks I picked up in Andong and my 50 f1.8 II lens. You can see all forty shots on flickr at my 40 shot challenge set.
