Last week i read this article about Double Lens Reverse Macro and decided to give it a go. I've been interested in macro photography for a little while now, but do not have any spare cash at the moment to buy a macro lens. This seemed like a good option to try it out. After reading that article I then went to ebay and ordered a 52mm/58mm coupling ring ($11 including shipping) so I could attach my 50mm f1.8 and 28-105mm f3.5/4.5 lens.
The coupling ring arrived yesterday and I gave it a shot just now with a 100 won coin. It's much harder than I thought, but I was doing it handheld - didn't feel like setting up the tripod. It's very grainy because the iso is set to 3200 but overall I'm satisfied with the results and will try out some more later.
