POTD day 2 - eye

Here’s my day 2 photo of the day picture. I had a different picture planned but since it’s really cold, -10C, I decided to stay indoors and do that one on another day. This picture was taken with my 50mm f1.8 II lens at ISO 200, F1.8 1/25 handheld – quite happy with how it turned out despite the low shutter speed. I did a little post processing including removing some dark lines under the eyes and cropped the image closer to what I wanted. I couldn’t get focus if I moved closer to what I wanted to see, but hey with 18megapixels I have lots of room to crop. In other news, I’m going to see if I can find an ExpressionEngine plugin to read the exif data and display it so I don’t have to manually enter it each time.
